8/14/2025 – NHHF Raises Concerns on MFN Drug Pricing Approach

The National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) stands firm in our commitment to advancing equitable access to life-saving medicines for the Latino community and all underserved populations. For decades, innovation in the United States has brought groundbreaking treatments to patients, yet affordability and access remain ongoing challenges. While recent proposals to import foreign price controls through the MFN approach raise concerns about reduced availability of critical medications, we share the belief that transparency, accountability, and equity must guide public health policy. Equally important is ensuring that solutions to lower costs do not create new barriers to care for communities already facing health disparities.
