Pediatric Endocrinologist and physician-scientist working on the development of innovative complementary therapies to promote residual #betacell function in T1D. I have worked as a sub-investigator for phase III multi-center clinical trials in pediatric type 2 diabetes, Trial Net (TN01) [2014-2018] and growth hormone deficiency. I am a Principal investigator for the NUTRI-Beta #nutrition clinical trial at Penn State College of Medicine. FLARE alumni at Endocrine Society (2020 cohort), PRIDE Cardiovascular Disease – Genetics Epidemiology Program (cohort #8) fellow, and KL2-ESI scholar at Pennsylvania State University-CTSI.
