I was born and raised in Mexico City and I am fully fluent in Spanish. I received my medical degree from Westhill University, affiliated with the National Autonomous University of Mexico and completed my residency in Family Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital. I am board certified in Obesity Medicine and have been practicing for over 10 years. I´m one of the few female Hispanic physicians in the State of Michigan. I love to engage with the Hispanic community on multiple levels, working closely with the Mexican Consulate and the Michigan Department of Health. I am also a spokesperson for Univision on a national level and have a great passion about the care of Hispanic women.
