Passionate about healthcare management, Dr. Gonzalez has over 25 years’ experience in Medical Management Leadership, overseeing and improving clinical operations in different healthcare settings. Dr. Gonzalez has been involved in all aspects of the business, including regulatory management and implementation for multiple large health plans. Currently, he serves as Managing Medical Director at Anthem Blue Cross of California, directing the strategic vision of the health plan and overseeing all aspects of medical management to improve the quality and value of services for members. Dr. Gonzalez is a Board-Certified Internist and an active member of the California Health Care Foundation/UCSF Medical Leadership Fellowship.
