Dr. Enrique Villalobos is a board-certified emergency physician and board-eligible pain medicine sub-specialist. Born in Mexico and raised in El Paso, Texas, he is the first college graduate and physician in his family. He earned a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Texas at El Paso before attending Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine for two years and completing his clinical years at Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. Dr. Villalobos pursued his primary specialty in Emergency Medicine at Texas Tech University in El Paso, where he worked for over 9 years. Recognizing the prevalence of chronic pain in emergency visits, he undertook a subspecialty program in Pain Medicine at Stanford University. Dr. Villalobos is dedicated to providing compassionate care to his patients, drawing on his experience in emergency and pain medicine, as well as his deep understanding of the Hispanic community.
